As you are all aware, I am from Peetabeck and an original band member. My identity is rooted in our culture and in our language. I enhanced my education to become a social worker and my long-term goal is to be able to help my community members.  I am here to listen, understand and comfort you, the best way I know how. EVERY CHILD MATTERS. I would also want to acknowledge the other mental health workers that are here to help you through difficult times that you may endure. NeeKeeWaNan has wonderful workers that work as a team.

I would like to share with you a little of the work that I do. Most of the time, I am in the community doing home visits, building relationships and building trust. The joy of visiting Elders, this is where our language comes in. A heart-to-heart connection of their teachings and stories of hardships.
